Question

Does anyone else have a problem with the CB? I actually have stopped using it because of the inane racist sexist crap on there all the time.

It is quite tedious and is mostly useless. The only time I use it now is to check when traffic is backed up.

It's been years since I've ran with the CB on, it seemed to die out at the dawn of satellite radio era, I haven't heard "I ain't got no panties on" in a decade at least.

I use mine quite a bit as a local driver at the supply point and to listen for reports of hazards or traffic jams.

I don't even have mine in the truck anymore. When I was local in AZ, there was no English spoken on it. After that.. nothing worth listening to. Ever. So I don't even keep it in the truck anymore. Sad.

It has gotten way out of hand, but is still good to have to be able to share where accidents and road closings are.... if you can get through all the babble

Pretty much the same reason I don't turn it on except in traffic backups. Nothing but trash is heard over it.
