My explanation of Brexit mess involving prophecies. Politicians, and all Brexiteers, please read. Actual prophecies are in BOLD.

Because people in the past got overly spiritual and started making prophecies, other people started doing it too. It got them power of sorts. Although prophecies are not rational or programmed to happen they liked doing it. It grew and continued to grow. Now it is so pervasive in politics it is expected of them .

In the recent chase for PM they all did it -with the possible exception of Rory Stewart. But they cannot all work and come true. Nevertheless the last pair are still trying to convince people that they will. In a queer way they are actually increasing their chances of a prophecy working but they a still very precarious.

What is needed is not prophecies but proper planning and putting thinking work in to make our hopes and dreams come true. Pilot schemes are the only way forward with clarity. They need to be well chosen and planned. In this way a lot of unknown information is unlocked and helps increase the chances of success.

In short politicians need to discover the real power of science and eventually live and breath it. That IS a long time in the future……. there even I cannot help doing it.

They also need well thought through TREATIES not DEALS, where someone is bound to lose out, but that is another story.

I thought treaties were deals?

MattHardy Level 7 June 30, 2019

My belief is that they are much more detailed, open and correctly formulated by professional civil servants .Also that there is a greater chance of everyone getting benefit from them. I just don't trust the words deal and dealer. Trump seems to have changed the world NOT to ask for treaties

@Mcflewster I would rather keep a Trump free lexicography where Fake News still meant the hoax websites dressed up to look like mainstream news and promoted by friends of Trump including troll farms in St Petersberg.
I ignore the beltherings of the man trying to dilute that term. Similarly with regards to deals or treaties what matters is the content not the name. A Rose by any other name...
The fact that Trump doesn't understand one term or prefers another term makes not difference to me. It just makes the man look foolish.
