It is very interesting to find out that Anne Secoolas who collided with and killed Harry Dunn was actually a (former?) CIA officer herself, and not just the spouse of a CIA operative. It’s reported that she is/was actually senior to her husband. The government knew this and kept quiet, Dominic Raab was less than forthcoming on this, as was Boris when they were pretending to go through the motions with the Dunn family. There was never a snowball’s chance in hell of her ever being extradited and held to account.
Your thoughts?
Quite a revelation!
Get James Bond on the case. He would soon have her back here
There’s a vacancy in that department at the moment, and a lot of speculation about who the new one will be. My money’s on James Norton,
@Marionville I see he is listed at 5/1 along with James Madden and Sam Heugan is the front runner at 5/2.
I like James Norton. He was really good as Stephen Ward in thw trial of Christine Keeler.
@Moravian I agree...the other two are both Scots...so I’m torn between them all!
When did this come to light? Is it on the news and I missed it?
It was on the BBC website and in yesterday’s Sunday papers.
@Marionville Thanks. I've been busy rehearsing a play, watching catch up TV and doing some building repair work. Missed it. I'll search it out now.
@Marionville I've searched the BBC news website for "Dunn" and also"Sacoolas". The newest mention is ten days ago.
Is this being suppressed?
@Petter can’t say...I read it yesterday but I think it’s in today’s Guardian too...look on their webpage...The Independent too.
@Marionville Got it!! On the Independent newspaper site.

This needs to be spread far and wide!?
That'll be a no for extradition. There are far more important institutions at work that outrank that poor young man's life in the big picture.
If she was released for trial, she could be imprisoned and potentially at risk of letting out secrets which in the end could cost more lives and international power.
The police could not be trusted to brush this under the carpet and find her to be not at fault, so she had to run and keep her knowledge secret. It is quite possible she is acting under orders and may well be torn apart inside herself over what happened.
Possibly, I’m sure no matter what regret she may be likely to feel, there was never any likelihood of her facing justice in this country, It would be exactly the same if a British spy had killed someone in an accident in USA...they would have been spirited away by our diplomats. These shadowy outfits look after their own and disregard the laws of any country.
Should have been known before now. The worst thing you can do with a legal challenge is ignore it.
