The ability to make goosebumps rise at will. Am I the only one able to do this? A little history. I first learned that I was able to do this when I was 11 years old when I was in a car listening to the radio. Long story short, I learned that music caused it and learned how to make goosebumps basically "come when called".
I can do this too. I learned how to do it when I was training for a triathlon years ago. I think I was in my mid-30's. I would listen to motivational music when I trained and a few times it would help give me an extra burst of energy. It always came with a tingle that started in the base of the back of my neck and go down my spine from there. At some point, I just figured out how to do it -- sans burst of energy. Now I can do it on command and it gives me goosebumps.
Yes. When it first occurred, the electric "tingle" was very strong. I knew that if I moved, it would dissipate very fast so I didn't. I eventually realized that whenever I felt that goosebumps would rise. Eventually I started noticing that other songs had the same effect. I later started trying to replicate it and nowadays, I am able to cause it to occur. Sometimes though, it happens without me trying. Are you able to prevent that feeling? I am but it takes focus and willpower. My hypothesis is that it's the "fight or flight" ability that all animals inherently have.
When I was training on the bike I would do that.Good medicine. A like no other.
Wow, I was working on erections and you are popping up bumbs,
You might be the only one that wants to do this
That's kind of cool. I can't do that, no. As a child I used to be able to tickle myself though, which people say is impossible. My senses must be dulling in old age, but the same spot makes it impossible for me to do trapeze as the bones you rest on for a lot of tricks give me a kind of electric shock if I rest on them lols.
Posted by Ray13I just joined this group, thought it would be best one to post something like this: Thought this might interest some of my fellow agnostics - I just donated my 160th pint (total 20 gallons) of blood...

Posted by Reason-AbleI’m 54 and bored. I needed a project and decided to buy a truck and make it my project. I’ve been adding little mods to it every weekend. Any other vehicle enthusiasts in the group?

Posted by WonderWartHog99After trimming up the crab apple tree, I loaded up the pick'em'up truck and headed for the landfill, Petunia riding shot gun.

Posted by flower_nutMy mother's best friend worked for the local newspaper and decided to dress me as a leprechaun and use it for Saint Patrick's Day. I was a smiling leprechaun, whatever that was?
