I’m inspired to post another Susanne….after Roger’s one earlier. This time it’s singer/songwriter Susanne Sundfor who has an extraordinarily beautiful voice…another one from Norway…is it in the Viking genes or in the water? There must be something that makes a country with such a small population up there near the North Pole produce so many singers with great voices and musical talent! Anyway here is Susanne with Undercover which is a particular favourite of mine, live in Oslo.
Generations of people singing out to call cattle. Keeling.
Nice harmony being added. It is not the pianist. I think we should see the other voice.
What are you talking about Roger…Susanne Sundfor is the singer, she also wrote the song. She has an accompanist playing the piano and someone else doing backup vocals. This is part of a concert and Susanne is the star, the pianist should be credited too, but alas I don’t have her name, or the backing vocalist either! We don’t normally get to know their names…which is a bit sad…but it’s showbiz I’m afraid!
I just felt that we should get a sight of the backup vocalist. Sorry, if that annoys you.
My real answer was to your "There must be something that makes a country with such a small population up there near the North Pole produce so many singers with great voices and musical talent!" to which I suggested keeling.
Interestingly music is strong in northern BC.
@rogerbenham I’m not annoyed in the least Roger…it’s just what happens to backing singers…they get very little credit. It was actually a rhetorical question I suppose. Ireland has a similar population to Norway…lots of great singers and musical talent here too. Nice to know there’s plenty in your neck of the woods too though!
@Marionville I was wrong! No surprise. kulning not keeling.
@rogerbenham I knew what you meant!
Must be the cold temps there that make so many great singers!!
It has to be something!
