This day 24 years ago - on 16th April 2000 a-ha released their 6th studio album, their first since 1993, it was titled - Minor Earth, Major Sky. They were surprised and very gratified at the great reception this new album received, especially from music critics and fellow musicians, many big names and major figures coming out and saying they had always been big fans of the band. They then followed it up with a world tour which ended up the following year in their home city Oslo…their homecoming concert kicking off with this the title track…
….now that’s what I call a great way to return after 7 years away from a home crowd!…

I’ve got that album playing in my car at the moment…it’s one of my favourites! Yes..they’re loved everywhere by their fans, and people travel long distances to see them.
