The leader of Ladysmith Black Mombasa, Joseph Shambalala has died.
I was very much taken with their acapella singing and the fascinating songs they performed.

He had retired and was 87 years old. He very much believed in peace through music!
That's life. Considering the time & place where he lived I suspect that he at least doubled normal life expectancy.
I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live in Philadelphia. He will be missed.

I saw them perform in Hamilton , Montana - an amazing show, and wonderful performers.
