Do you eat breakfast? Do you think it's the most important meal of the day?
well, as in "breaking the fast" everyone has to eventually. with me it's any time past 12 midday that i have my first meal, a giant smoothie: 2 eggs, ginger, fruit & lemon, some brassica (kale or cabbage) or celery, cinnamon, chia seed, linseed, psyllium husk, topped up with oat or rice milk. the zestier the better - mmmyummmm!
If I'm working one of my temp jobs, I'll eat breakfast, but if I'm not working, I only eat if I get hungry. As to how important, I don't think it is as important as it has always been made out to be. I think each person's body may react differently. I am usually more hungry at night on the days I've had breakfast.
Yep, me too.
Just coffee and a slice of toast, if I eat a big breakfast I get lazy. Although I will eat breakfast for dinner occasionally.
Yes I do eat breakfast but I don't it the important meal of the day. As long you feed the body with the proper nutrition no what matter time of it is.
Absolutely and ditto. I have a rotating schedule with the different things a week, cereal, hash browns, pancakes, 2 different kinds of oatmeal, toast, bagels, OJ and, of course tea. I'm usually done by 8. If I am taking a morning ferry I even pack breakfast. I'm really anal about breakfast!
I eat breakfast because I feel better when I do. I don't know if it truly is the most important, I think you have to listen to your body. If you aren't hungry, don't eat.
Sometimes, other times it’s just coffee. Carl’s Jr. has 2 biscuits for $2.50, so I’ll get that one in a while, sometimes other options. Really depends on the day.
Yes. Yummy food. My place is skimpy on breakfast though.
I get up between 5 and 6 AM everyday. I almost never eat before Noon or 1 PM.
My tastes are more particular the less hours I have been awake. A good many "breakfast" items, of our culture, Weight me down, make me sleepy and generally displeased with their effects. For the most part I have not engaged in breakfast for the better part of 40 years. I do not think it has had any ill effects. I would chalk up the "most important meal of the day" line to the advertising agencies. I would suppose that bodies would vary somewhat in what pleases them and when. Chocolate for instance, makes me feel ill early in the day.
I always try to have something in the morning because it helps my mood and energy. Sometimes it's traditional breakfast food, but other times it could be leftovers. Sometimes just some fruit or yogurt. And most of the time I just gotta have my coffee. Also love to occasionally treat myself to "brunch" on the weekend.
There's a very old saying in the uk . I don't know if it's the same in the states. It goes Eat breakfast like a king ,Lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.
that's funny i almost posted the same addage
No. And I drink not eat - half a litre of fruit juice which keeps me going til lunch.
Yes, I think breakfast is the most important meal. I need to have breakfast or at least brunch, if I'm too busy earlier in the day. But I can NOT eat at 6 or 7 am that is way too early f or me personally. 9 AM is perfect for breakfast. Have a great day.
