There's a family of little green herons that lives around a local pond. The two babies are old enough to be on their own, but they still hang around (and occasionally beg food from) their parents. Here are a couple of pictures of each of the babies (still a little fuzzy and their bills are pink rather than yellow) and one of the adults.
