Question

Mourning Doves are the most common bird who visit us. They are incredibly skiddish and very hard to sneak up on. I was in my tent/blind to get this shot. Up close they are pretty birds. My favorite thing about them is how they sound like their wings need oiling when they fly off.

Their song reminds me of when I was a little boy and I would sleep over at my grandparents house, There were lots of trees there and the windows were open for the breeze and dove songs.

Wow they are very brave where I grew up in Massachusetts. I expect it's like most birds and depends on the environment they are used to.

They are such a pretty bird.
