I worked the closing shift at the clinic tonight, so I went birding this morning. It's a shame the lighting was so awful because the birds were very cooperative.
Red headed woodpecker, osprey with fish, great blue heron, the resident crippled snow goose.

maybe because it is overcast the birds feel less exposed, thus becoming more cooperative. still an interesting & lively collection of animal neighbourhood. thank you
