Are you buying wholesale or retail? Agricultural grain exchange or pet store?
Do your local farmers let undersize grains go to waste or keep them for poultry fodder? You may be able to snaffle a bag in exchange for a wee drop in the local.
@RichieO Wow, that is extraordinary. But if it doesn't grow there what do the birds eat naturally? Isn't that what you should be offering? It sounds like you are feeding them free malt whiskey and caviar! No wonder they are flocking to Richie's place. The NES must have reached Dublin and Belfast if not Liverpool by now. It's a wonder that you haven't got a diaspora greater than the Irish after the dreadful famine that should never have happened.
