#AustralianBirdCalls, #AustralianBirdSongs

In response to a call for people's disliked noises a response came that Australian crows are horrific. I queried this suggesting that our Magpies, Cockatoos and Kookaburras are the more likely noise makers. As a result three beatiful videos have been put of the glorious songs of three Australian birds.

There are many melodic and mimicking Australian birds so I invite you to explore and share the ones that intrigue you, delight you and b.well annoy you in the replies below.

To get to the 3 videos posted just follow the #AustralianBirdCalls link.

i welcome all nature sounds, & especially birdsong. i am particularly fond of the marbles-in-beak-rolling call of the magpie & the creative song of the butcherbird, but crows don't bother me either, nor do the endlessly cooing doves.

Townies? An even worse sound would be the strident call to prayer in the mosque or badly played bells.

yes, @FrayedBear, hearing church bells i still want to raise the moron alarm.
