Some Wood Storks came to where I work. (Florida West Coast). There is an island rookery near my house. [en.m.wikipedia.org]
Is this where they decide who deliverers which babies to which houses?
They still do that in the UK, but the storks here are all retired and lazy. They realized nobody in Florida had chimneys to drop them down. (Yeah, I guess that relates more to Santa Claus. My bad. Hahaha)
Bet these big birds can dirty a parking lot in a hurry!
They never stay long... but imagine below the rookery? The return to the same place every year. Ugh.
