I have today off because I worked last weekend. I took the opportunity to visit the Town Park in Bloomsburg and check out the Canada goslings.

The young are so precious! I have many great memories of Canada geese. During the one and only half-marathon I ran, I was chased by two Canada geese! I'm sure they were just cheering me on and not angry because the marathon was routed through the bird sanctuary. (Fortunately, no media in sight.)

Inspiring weren't they? lol

@RavenCT Very! You should have seen them - necks elongated, wings stretched out and hissing loudly.

@pixiedust I was chased by a goose when I was about 2 yo. I did not know the popcorn I was holding in a box was meant for them.... I have never forgotten and I'm really glad I'm not short anymore! lol

@RavenCT How very scary for you as a young child! The goose was probably your size, if not a bit larger!

@pixiedust It was but I survived! 😉
