I have a lot of these visit my backyard and birdbath. I also have plenty of chickadees, finches, blue jays, and unfortunately CROWS.

Dayglo safety?

No, just borrowed a pic from the web. Damn iPhone camera stopped working. Black screen.

@GuyKeith Rofl. Guy I don't know what you are reading at your end. Down here the world has been filled with people in dayglo shirt, wet weather gear, hats, trousers etc. for too many years.

@GuyKeith as for Apple reliability my advice never having used them is to buy Android. I have had many over the years but never one with a US camera. I worried for a time about my latest not focussing but that turned out to be a Samsung software problem.

@FrayedBear Got it. I was trying to pretend I knew what you are talking about. Ah, Australia. I was reading that Australia would be the most difficult country/continent to invade and conquer. Not because of the geographical isolation or vastness, but because of your awesome slang, you would have the invaders so confused that they would surrender.

Gorgeous Goldfinch! We get them too.

One of my favorite harbingers of real Spring!

I love my birds. These are so tiny! I have a huge tree in back and a bird bath underneath it. A feeder, too, and the squirrels have a field day. I try to coexist, but whatever.
