Since I moved to rural Idaho three years ago, I have been delighted with all the birds I have for neighbors. The red winged blackbirds I've admired from afar are now nesting in the foliage along the canal bank. There is an osprey nest nearby and I love watching them raise their young year after year. I live in a bird paradise!
