I've been watching birds since my mom and nan introduced me to bird watching as a kid. I developed an affinity for that most elusive of birds early on, the Owl. Any other Owl People out there?

when i was living in a caravan in the australian rain forest i had a pair of tawny frogmouth sleeping right behind my home in a tree during the day. i find this particular kind of australian owl fascinating... but love all birds actually.

Where did you photograph the snowy owl?

Not my pic, friends who know I really like Snowies will send me pics, this is one of them.
This is the last pic I took of a Snowy Owl back in 2015.

I'm an owl person! The other day a barn owl that looked to be about 24" high was perched on a branch right over the road at about 10:30 in the morning. I was driving and so did not get a chance to take a picture.
