I have a friend who is in remission but suffering from brain fog. Any ideas or treatments I can relay to her?

Chemo brain is pretty common. I still have it 8 years later.

I do puzzles constantly and exercise a lot. I'm not sure if it helps, but it can't hurt.

Play games with her. Simple games being patient. I have short term memory loss from chemo. I ask a question and later ask it again forgetting I asked it earlier. Drives Dan nuts.

B-complex might help

A friend of mine, a nurse who also went through a lot of chemo, radiation, etc.,, told me that the best gifts she got from all of us were those silly word find and puzzle books...we started with the easy and beginners ones...we also got her those coloring books and markers...seems when the creative side of the brain works, the other parts do as well...can't hurt ...you are a good friend!

It could be a side effect from meds. I'm having that too so I'm going to stop some of the pills for awhile to see if it goes away. Good to hear that she in remission.
