just joined the group.. I love all outdoor activities, bicycle, canoing, hiking, outdoor cooking, gardening, making friends.
I am also a tai-chi instructor.. I am 75 years old but my body is telling me I am 50.. I hope to meet some of you in the near future..
I wanna be you someday LOL
I feel that what I am doing now will pay off when Im retired.
As a teen of the 70s, I did a lot of walking because there were no rides to had, and not everyone had a phone assuming they were even indoors to answer one. would walk 3 miles to find out that my friend was at the park another mile away whereby I would run to catch her.
In the 80s I had kids to chase after but by the 90s I had the net and older kids so I got soft and lazy.
I started walking and hiking outside here in Florida about 3 years ago due to geocaching but now I am biking to build endurance and strength.
Because I want to be the one to say I am 75 but my body thinks Im 50
Our bodies are constantly rebuilding themselves. So with this premes which is proven in medicine, It becomes up to us in maintaining our machines, so to speak .. God easy exercises, healthy food, eliminate stress, optimism, and friendship. Take care.
