Time is approaching for the convention in San Francisco. Do attending members still want to gather?

I would like to. I know a few bay area people attending and think some of them want to meet for lunch as well. Which day, Friday or Saturday? I will run it by them if we decide on a day and time.

I am good for either day but Friday might be better as the convention hasn't officially started. I have a cell phone 206-596-6928 Now if I can remember to turn it on. I will try and check my e-mails.

@JackPedigo I will get there at around noon. The others I know that are coming from the Bay Area won't be there until later. my number 415-306-2896 if you want to try for lunch today.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation convention. Salman Rushdie is the keynote speaker. It will be my 6th and these conventions are unbelievably fun.

@JackPedigo can't go have animals t otake care twice a day.

@JackPedigo I'm thinking Saturday might be a better day to have lunch with a few people. There's a full 2 hour lunch break on Saturday. Friday is ok too, just need to make sure I leave Santa Rosa at a reasonable time.
Which do you prefer? Let me know and I will message my fellow North Bay Skeptics and see if they want to join us.

@marlayne Darn, I missed this message. I was staying with a friend in Seattle this day and didn't have access to a computer.

Posted by TO_BYI'm remembering Sam for Memorial Day. He died over this last year. A memorable street-performance artist up here. He originally hailed from Tonga. Big spirited. Loved America.
