I think it is willpower too- but more than that it is a matter of looking at reality. Replacing that which we 'think' we need, with something that is better. Booze, or drugs cost a lot of money, which for many, makes life hard. Any tranquility is short lived. Call overeating, "gluttony" and think about how it makes a person look.
