All my family have all the quilts, sweaters, hats, scarves, afghans, etc., they can use or find house-room for. I do a bit for charitable causes, but I would be grateful for ideas for projects for the coming colder season. I like the idea of projects for the home - I have knitted a bath-mat I am really pleased with in heavy cotton, a set of table mats in the same cotton, and have a pile of small face-cloths/dish-cloths that I make when I want to use up some left-over cotton, or try out a new design on a small scale. Any ideas for further home furnishings?

Thank you. I have done lace edgings for sheets and pillow-cases but it never struck me that tablecloths could have edgings too! I love lace knitting so I shall pursue that one.
