English Paper Piecing Envelope Block
A friend of mine runs a small specific breed dog rescue. She asked if I could help with a fundraiser...here is what I came up with...
I am going to make a bunch of these doggie themed quilt blocks that people can buy for a few bucks. Each block will come with a fabric marker...I want them to write a personal note about a dog they adopted from the shelter and return them to me...
I am going to put them all together to make a quilt wall hanging for one of the walls at the shelter..or maybe to raffle off later in the year....I figure is I do 20 blocks and sell them for $10 or whatever people want to donate, it will help a little bit...
Here is my test block...the paper part will be a blank or very subtle solid in the real blocks...do you think it will sell or do you have other ideas?
