Okay, here's the idea I wish get a team write a graphic novel based on.........
Graphic Novel Name: Eternal Berkana
Genre: Science Fantasy
Sinopsis: A long long time ago there was an alternate version of Earth where beings we now only ever hear of in mythology resided. (These beings if seen now would be referred as Dragons, Elves, Imps, and fairies). Their technology reached an amazing height of progress and they learned preserve their consciousness in synthetic micro-organisms that could pass from host host carrying with them unique abilities, and this became their salvation for a travesty was eventually occur. A taboo was broken and the multiverse had correct the mistake by the merging of two worlds their's and a world were dinosaurs once roamed..... unfortunately the vessels carrying the synthetic micro-organisms were for the most part destroyed during the merge, but the synthetic organisms themselves survived though scathed and needing time repair themselves. Eventually these organisms now referred as deific symbionts found new hosts and religions and cults began forming around the observation of what the deific symbionts were capable of. Each deific symbiont had followers, and the lore passed out around them was intentionally contrary the reality on their actual identity and nature, as they were of technology and so too would be destroying them so it was seen as to being wise to let the masses write their own misleading explanation on how each carrier of a deific symbiont was able to do as they were able to do by proclaiming them deities and their powers supernatural. This story follows the Deific Symbionts known as Ratatoskr and Hel.
Characters:
Ratatoskr- Ratatoskr has long silver hair, an athletic build, carries himself like Alucard from the anime Hellsing and has squirrel like ears and tail. Ratatoskr and Hel have been long time lovers over and over again through many incarnations. Ratatoskr finds Hel to be all around impressive in terms of her combat and survival capabilities and will often seek her advice on matters. Ratatoskr tends to utilize electricity in his attacks and can control electricity with finesse even occasionally to the point of disintegrating another with black lightning. If Ratatoskr wants to know something you are keeping secret from him, he can just place his hand firmly on your scalp and forcibly extract that information with a chance of frying your brains. Ratatoskr prefers to deal with humans through a show of power that could have easily destroyed them but instead disarm them in a way that spares their lives and leaves them trembling in fear. If Ratatoskr allows his blood to enter the body of a human being he can cause effects that significantly resemble what one would be lead to believe is a curse. Ratatoskr is the student of the deific symbiont known as Loki and expected to be the one in of deciding the fate of humanity.
Hel- Hel is a bit tomboyish, roguish, fairly flat-chested, and carries herself like Domino from the Xmen franchise. She has dark brown hair cut relatively short, and half of her body (Divided down the center) is slightly grey in color. Hel is most amused by Ratatoskr's cheeky wit and ingenuity and finds him to be irreplaceable as a companion. Hel utilizes heavy water in her attacks along with occasionally causing regular human beings to suffer some pretty frightening hallucinations in which she has quite a bit of control over. Hel prefers to deal with humans through preoccupying them through the use of controlled hallucinations, she achieves this by evaporating her blood into the humidity of the air around her and having it enter their bloodstream through their lungs. Hel is the preserved consciousness of Loki's adopted daughter, the symbionts containing his memories and other assorted data and functions (Referred to as a symbiont unit) created the symbiont unit that Hel is preserved through. Ironically, Hel is tasked to eventually give birth to Loki's new vessel in preparation for Ragnarok.
Ideas for Graphic Novel Titles: Rainbow In The Dark, Hel Bent For Leather, Hel Hath No Fury, and Hel To Pay.
I like the idea of the Deific Symbionts mostly being Stoics as they've had a very long time to mature in a sense that would be impossible for others to achieve. The Mating rituals of Deific symbionts who have a host body require them to impress eachother in combat against eachother so I can imagine this having some good fight scenes.
Although this is interesting, it is not Science Fiction. It is just marginally Science Fantasy. That out of the way, what do you propose?
