That looks amazing. I have everything but the raw hazelnuts. I guess I need to go shopping. I’ve been making my own fruit “jams” (takes half hour plus chilling time). This would make a good addition to my spreads. Thank you.

I am familar with the raw food movement and the idea that excess heat kills certain important enzymes. However, it also requires a lot of extra work.

It really doesn't.....in fact, I do far less dishes than most people I know. Yesterday, for example, I used one plate and a coffee mug. Everything I ate was raw....oh, yeah, and a knife to cut up the cauliflower. So, one knife, one plate, and a coffee mug. Those were my dishes.

@SkotlandSkye Yes for some dishes. But others require a lot more work. We used to get raw bread at a local farmers market. It was a lot more expensive and denser than other kinds. I don't know if there is a gluten free version but still it takes more work and knowledge. Also, raw foods are limited in variety. We learned how to ferment some foods (I don't have the skills my late partner had so I've pretty much stopped) and did do many raw foods. For me with my food issues I need more of a variety.
