Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone. Embrace adventure. Have fun welcoming uncertainty. Master chaos through flexibility and youthful curiosity. Once a year, go somewhere you have never been. Ever since a tour guide forgot me in the middle of Cuzco, Peru, I have been traveling the world solo. Along the way, I have made friends in foreign lands and had wonderful adventures. It would be even more fantastic to share these adventures with my yet to be found best friend and life lover.
Other interests include gardening, cooking for family and friends, giving back via volunteering, paddling, peddling, hiking, snowshoeing, chess, Scrabble, reading, writing, classical music, 60's and 70's music, theater, films, art museums and used book stores. Getting out in nature every day is an important part of my life. When it comes to sports, I am more of a "doer" than a "viewer". I love learning new skills and experiencing new adventures. I do not believe in an omniscient, omnipotent Prime Mover. When out in nature alone or with the canine who shares my home, I am filled with joy and sense a life force in every blade of grass. Probably my over active imagination and emotions. Politically, I am a bit left of center.
