On to the matter of his appearance. At 5’4”; I can reach the top shelf, but I do need help seeing what’s there. Clearly I can laugh at my short comings. I have brassy, blonde hair and yes, I have blonde moments. My beard was last taken down to stubble 5 years ago and it’s been years since a clean shave. I’ve been told that my blue eyes change with my moods. My physique is in the average category.

The middle of boys, my birth order says a lot about me, but not all. I’ve always been a thrill seeker who first found thrills in carnivals and amusement parks. In the Army I jumped from planes. Today I still seek the thrill Roller coasters and would like to sky dive. As a Humor enthusiast I grew watching people like Robin Williams, listening to Weird ‘Al’, and others forms of comedy. They all provide me with much needed medicine and remind me to “Always look on the bright side of life.” I enjoy seeing others laugh as well. Now I’m looking to travel more and experience more of the world.

I’ve had a few relationships in my life and even managed to marry once. My divorce is now old enough to drink. My longest and last relationship ended after years. Other priorities and not being in the right place since kept me from clicking, so I stepped out of the scene for a while. My life is a lot different now and I feel the time is right to seek a partner to develop a lasting relationship.

Electricity excites me, so I chose to get a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Psychology so I could analyze a circuit; oh I do quack myself . I completed my degree and immediately began my career years ago. My success is not my own; I made the most of myself thanks to caring friends who gave me a swift in the donkey 30 plus years ago. A lot of my drive today is in the hopes of keeping them proud of me.

I have the ability to stay calm and “I’m a leaf in the wind,” as needed. My humility makes me more accepting of criticism than compliments, but this may also be my altruism and maybe a middle child thing. I consider myself ‘Abi-normal’ but then I recall quotes like “We’re all screwed in way or another. It sort of makes you normal.” Despite having had relationships before I can be oblivious about flirting etc. In fact, if you’ve heard the stories about guys who didn’t know the was interested; well I’ve been there, done that, have t-shirts, spoons, and the a punch card, lol. Meyers-Briggs puts me in the Introvert range; however, it’s more situational and people may find it hard to believe I’m not Extroverted. On the other hand I do enjoy quieter venues, I do speak softly, and though comfortable in large crowds or doing things away from the house; at home alone is preferable.

When it comes down to it we've all been through things that have shaken what confidence we had. So, at this time and place in my life I'm not sure where the ground ahead of me leads, but I’m a duck that keeps moving forward trying to find its’ way. Finding someone who understands this and is willing to share the journey is highly desired; maybe you could bring a torch? Ultimately I want to be in a situation where we take turns laying our heads in the other’s lap, we travel together, and we make our way to becoming an old couple together.
