Looks like I'm in good company, has anyone else tried magic mushrooms or LSD?

No. Only Marihuana. Oh boy did I fuck up in Africa.
Back in the day everyone in Chelsea used hash but it was mild back then - and it tasted and smelled.
In The Gambia it didn't taste of anything and it didn't do anything - so I had a few more puffs. Still didn't do anything. After about three minutes it started.
I remember my friend taking my money off me and sitting me down on a bench while she went to find a taxi. Couple of nice females came and sat by me inspecting their legs.
Put back in my apartment and left. Then the electric went. Total dark. Couldn't remember my way around the apartment. Had to use logic to work out where things might be. No memory, only logic.
Yep - acid - but I haven't had any for ages & it's not fashionable any more.
Let's hope they come back into fashion
Of course! Back in my twenties while at college. You see, once I had attained a small measure of separation & independence from my parents, most anything was fair game to try. Mushrooms are big in Oregon and have been for a long, long time. So too is LSD I suppose.
Before they became restrictive and serious about what guests could bring in and consume, the famous Oregon Country Fair was awash in breathtaking drum circles and people intently studying tree knots & saying "WOW" in a long, drawn out way.
@Artisan1992 I wish I could have been at the Oregon Fair to go WOW (man) at the trees
Yes, both.
I had a good trustworthy source of acid in the 80's but that dried up and I was afraid I might get something bad so I switched to mushrooms in the 90's.
They tasted better with a little ketchup on them.
@Paul628 I don't believe anything can make them taste better
Psilocybin is a much more enjoyable mind vacation than LSD but I am only speaking for myself. In the right circumstances & the right dose, hallucinogenic mushrooms are more visually pleasant, less intense, less in duration with less of a crash. A far more gentle landing & preferable to the synthetic LSD. Life is about experiences & I had plenty in my youth. I seek less experiences as I cross them off of my bucket list. The phobia the Nixon administration introduced into government research on these chemicals is finally waining. The use of these hallucinogenics in a guided controlled environment is finding a useful place in the treatment of severe PTSD.
@Countrywoman I agree shrooms are gentler I use them in micro doses to control my PTSD
Yes LSD and mushrooms - “I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Sorry, must be the residual effects of the LSD
Yep, tried shrooms and acid. I preferred the shrooms though. My system seemed much more at ease with them than with acid. But that's just me, and I'm sure others would prefer the opposite. I did enjoy both though.
Most people say they prefer shrooms, in my experience. I preferred acid.
@MarkRussell Natural v synthetic I prefer natural every time
@Jnei I guess it's horse for courses...although that'd be referring to ketamine - but it's whatever someone prefers I guess...
@psycheworks Yarp - ditto.
