5 1

Just watched Tremors 6 for the first time.

God, was it painful. I know I shouldn't expect it to be good, but I quite enjoyed 5. It was at least an improvement over 4 due to its actually-quite-good CGI. This one, on the other hand, was painful to watch. The plot holes and inconsistencies with the previous films were off the scales, and Burt was made into a grouchy asshole with none of his previous gruff charm. They made him scream most of his lines, and the movie had some of the dumbest one liners and situations ever (including distracting a graboid with vibrations made from peeing on the ground). There were also way too many pointless callbacks and repeated lines from the first and second movies (i.e. the two best ones).

Knowing me, I'll probably try to watch it, since it's part of the Tremors franchise, which, up until now, I've totally loved.
But if it's as bad as you say, I probably won't be able to stand watching it for long.

I had no idea until you said the other numbers have seen 1 and 2 long ago thought the new one was 3 did not even look at the total title. Grate now I have to watch 3 more B films just to catch up.

"Bert" is getting a bit old to carry this franchise forward. I'm a "Tremors" aficionado. I'll continue to buy the "straight to dvd" stuff, watch it, and grit my teeth.

Rule of thumb: the higher the sequel number, the worse the movie. My personal fav: Jaws 3, where the hysterical woman keeps insisting the shark will get her...move to Arkansas, you idiot!

Thank you, I almost watched it.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste your time on it.
