Canada charges the US an average of 249% on all imported dairy products, according to the World Trade Organization, and as much as 270% on some milk substances.

And yet they complain about tariffs from us. Trump will fix these unfair trade agreements.
The tariff issue is complicated. Each country wants to protect what it considers a vital industry. My guess is that this will go to WTO who will weight Canada's tariffs against US subsidies and Canada will also bring up recent tariffs that the US has imposed against Canadian lumber as part of its defense of its actions to protects its dairy industry.
Trump's execution of his stance on the trade problem pretty much sucked.
These are our friends.
Have you heard that it hurts ones credibility when they cherry pick information to politicize it?

value of a dollar is high, economy supposedly good, and trade deficit gets larger with Canada under Trump than it was the prior year under Obama? Am I reading that correctly?
