Canada charges the US an average of 249% on all imported dairy products, according to the World Trade Organization, and as much as 270% on some milk substances.

And yet they complain about tariffs from us. Trump will fix these unfair trade agreements.

Are they punishing Canadians or Americans? Not a lot of thought went into this Idea. So Americans do what they always to pass the cost along to the customers.

The tariff issue is complicated. Each country wants to protect what it considers a vital industry. My guess is that this will go to WTO who will weight Canada's tariffs against US subsidies and Canada will also bring up recent tariffs that the US has imposed against Canadian lumber as part of its defense of its actions to protects its dairy industry.

Trump's execution of his stance on the trade problem pretty much sucked.

These are our friends.

Even your friends must behave if they want to party at your house. We have been ripped off for years by trade deals worked out by incompetent negotiators - Trump knows a fair deal when he sees one.

@gater Trump is the worst president E-V-E-R.

Yes I think he will. I certainly hope so as the US exports a lot of agricultural products.

Have you heard that it hurts ones credibility when they cherry pick information to politicize it?

Here is a link to the big picture: [census.gov]

value of a dollar is high, economy supposedly good, and trade deficit gets larger with Canada under Trump than it was the prior year under Obama? Am I reading that correctly?

@Darthpug Yes i read it that way too.
