I can not explain how happy I am to find you all where I can ask endless questions without being condemned as I was a Christian. I am a fresh atheist which does not necessarily mean I know all the answers . However I am grateful to have you all for guidance based on free-mind and not religion.

The wise never claimed to have all the answers. They are too busy looking for new questions🙂

Welcome to the asylum, post what you want to talk about, comment on what others talk about, enjoy the time spent here, learn and teach.
I wish you well and success in finding what you are searching for here and in your life.

I have no answers, but l would definitely like to welcome you to this place. ?

Nobody has ALL the answers, although some think they do. =]

Just take your time...no need to jump into the ‘deep-in,’ yet! ‘Life is a journey, not a destination!’ I don’t recognize anyone here that knows everything, I think we are all here for the ride...the one we couldn’t have in the controlled religions! We explore what pleases us here and most of time it works well. Nothing is perfect! Glad you are here!

They won't let go

Welcome to the community of free thinkers. Congrats on leaving the dark side of religious bs. I'm also happier as an atheist.

Welcome. Just because many of us are long time or old athiests doesn't mean we have all the answers, except the most important one for me and most emotionally and psychologically feeing idea that many Buddhists espouse, you achieve nirvana when you realize or understand there is nothing. It removes the fear, but puts the responsibility on you to create your own world, ethics and morality, which IMO, must of necessity be superior to that of any religious based or taught system of thought. You hold your own hand; the most most important hand and the only one you have got or need.

Welcome

If you've been ''in the closet," it must be very refreshing, enabling and just HAPPY to "come out" and find so many atheists welcoming you! Remember there's no ONE set of principles and your opinions may change over time. Doesn't matter...because you are now officially in the DOGMA-FREE zone!

Welcome. Ask away........

Welcome to the party!

Hey, same here on the fresh atheism. It’s hard, especially when you come from a very religious area. The thing about it is, nobody has all the answers and that’s okay.

I hear you, Delilah. Branch out and check out other resources if you haven't already. There are several groups and people who produce amazing podcasts and websites. I'd be glad to share some of my experiences if you are interested. The reason I put it out there is not everyone wants to hear every opinion. It can be overwhelming. I have a couple of resources I enjoy sharing for starters.

I love emerging Atheists fresh from actually reading their genocidal misogynistic anti-science pro-violent abortions bibles....as it is obvious ONLY Atheists read bibles believers fondle the fetish book
