I tested to see if the system will drop 'thin' when I comment by entering about 5K occurrences of 'thin' in about 500 comments. All posted to the system successfully from my Linux (OpenSUSE, KDE) using Firefox.

I found an example of 'thin' missing in an alert; however, upon opening the post, 'thin' was not missing. That's not an OS browser related issue. Perhaps I'm mistaken about the bug being client related (i.e., OS-browser related).

The post that generated the missing 'thin' is [agnostic.com]

I logged out of Agnostic.com, logged in again, and looked at my alerts. The one with 'thin' missing remained missing.

@EdEarl I have noticed that happening but in the case of my posts, it was originally missing in the post so I edited and inserted the missing word. However, that did not effect the alert.

@DotLewis has experienced 'thin,' 'size' and 'long' drop out of her posts, comments or replies. She uses Windows 10 and Chrome.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? The 64 thousand dollar question?

Dropping characters from posts isn't good.

Why?

Admin was having difficulty identifying the software culprit that removed 'thin' from posts. My test has reduced the chance of it being in Linux, Firefox, the database, and much of the Agnostic.com software. It seems to suggest that some other interface, perhaps a phone app, is the culprit. However, my guess doesn't count, since I don't know the software. Admin and the software gurus can analyze the data and determine how the test may be useful.

@EdEarl well, aren’t you the smart one?!

I've never had a thin problem anyway. I use bog standard Windows 10, and the Firefox browser on a desktop.

That's a typical system, which I don't have.
