I heard this in a Stanford university behavioral biology lecture.
What do these 4 things have in common?
1.A woman's period
2. Eating a lot of junk food
3. A brain tumor
4. Consuming large amounts of steroids
Go!
They've all been used as successful defencess in murder trials. I love Sapolsky
They were all mentioned together in a lecture at Stanford?
You have me wondering now
@SilverDollarJedi keep us guessing a while
Wow I just scanned the lecture notes. Very interesting stuff.
Without more specifics about what chemically-induced behavioural changes each might motivate, the common factor is that all will affect the subject person's emotions, behaviour, or both, to one extent or another.
I shudder at the mothers with hyperactive children who feed them ultra sweet Starbucks drinks, deserts, or both, then angrily tell then to sit still. They know not what they do. LLOL
Is it the abundance of steroids found in junk food that contribute to early menstruation and brain tumors????
I know the answer, but I cheated lol
At first I thought it had to do with temperament or behavior.
@SilverDollarJedi I didn't search anything having to do with Stanford lol
@SilverDollarJedi I'm probably wrong. It raises their blood sugar levels?
@SilverDollarJedi Damn it lol
@SilverDollarJedi I kind of thought it might be wrong because high blood sugar doesn't really have anything to do with behavioral biology. Although I guess it could.
They all influence behavioral changes.
