There is a tendency to consider words as things with fixed meaning. They are not. Any given word can have multiple meanings and the appropriate one is a matter of context. In this case "religion" is a term of art denoting entities and ideologies that have a specific relationship to the government. It behooves atheists to embrace the legal definition rather than the literal ("no gods" ) one in matters concerning the privileges associated with "religious expression".
We must form an atheist religion in order to use Supreme Court ruling that we can discriminate if our religion permits it. So for me to refuse service to HIM & his ilk, we need to form a organization & call it a religion. One commandment. Oppose this administration.
Most excellent! I will use that in the future.
