When I was a kid, I found my dad's stash of Playboy mags. Sure, the models were fun to gaze at, but my favorite part of those old Playboys were Gahan Wilson's cartoons.
On my 13th birthday, my stepdad called me over to show me a Playboy centerfold, and started asking questions like "do you like this?" "Do you like the girl down the street?"... It was akward, like he was trying to figure out if I was gay or something... No, I wasn't attracted to the girl down the street (we lived on a farm, so 'down the street' wasn't all that close), and little did he know that I had already looked and read that issue, pics, cartoons, jokes and all!
Yeah, I knew where the stash was, I visited regularly
That was a confusing moment for me. The two images didn't go together. ..my Dad and the man who looked and read those magazines. The fact they were hidden were a huge clue that something was off.
In highsight...Maybe certain materials, props etc should be under lock and key. Curiosity is a dangerous thing in many situations. Some of those images I have never been able to erase LOL.
*be a grownup now...I get it
They werenβt very well hidden. They were under my parents bed.
