What is your favorite seafood recipe? I live at the beach and we eat a lot of seafood around here.
I lived in Monterey, Cali if you didn’t eat fish 3x a week you were banished to Salinas
I love scallops. Generally grilled or broiled. I count self as vegetarian with the exception of eating seafood ever once in awhile. It's just so addictive.
I thought we were talking fish... scallops are poop eaters
All of it as long as it doesn't involve orange or yellow cheese, which my insides can't handle.
In Hawaii we have a mild white fish called Wahoo or Ono. You can also get it frozen from Costco. I'm not a complicated cook. I only go for super easy recipes. Here is one I like:
ONO WITH MARMALADE
Thaw frozen ono - or use any fresh fish.
Sprinkle both sides with (Johnny's) seafood seasoning.
Sear (both sides) in frying pan using cooking spray or oil, using medium high heat. When done, turn off the heat.
Top the fish with a few spoonfuls of Orange Marmalade, cover and braise for a few minutes as the burner cools.
Add a few shakes of shoyu (soy sauce) to the marmalade that has melted down the sides of the fish. Stir to make a sauce. Serve!
I prefer crab or shrimp. I really don't like fish
I love all seafood. Mussels Marinara or with a Wine Sauce. Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Sauce. Oysters Raw or let to steam on the open Fire. Cream Clam Chowder with everything that will fit in the pot. Manhattan Clam is just as tasty but the more fish the veggies will absord the flavors. Smoked Salmon on a Bagel or on Rye Toast with Onion and some Cream Cheese, Brie or What ever.
