We are in the middle of summer and I was wondering what people are reading. This summer I decided to focus on graphic novels (aka comic books) for adults. So far I've read My Favorite Thing is Monsters, Paper Girls, and am finishing Vol. 2 of the Flintstones (nothing like the Hanna-Barbera cartoon...so please stop with the eye rolling...LOL)
Any books on Atheism you recommend?(share classics and current books please)
I've been on a graphic novel (comics) kick since my marriage fell apart. I like Jeff Lemire - The Black Hammer, Trillium, Roughneck, Descender. I've also been enjoying a lot of Batman (Frank Miller, Scott Snyder, Jeff Loeb). For some reason, I've taken to the weirdness of Justice League Dark. Jason Aaron's take on Doctor Strange and also Thor are pretty entertaining. That's all I can think of at the moment. I'll let you know if others cross my mind later.
Sorry I used to read thousands of books as a child( we had no electricity so TV wasn't an option) now I'm switched over to open world video games don't read so much anymore
I know, I know, I know buuuut anything Stephen King works! Lol #darktowerseries

Currently I'm reading H. Jon Benjamin's comic memoir, "Failure is an Option." Wish I could get my hands on an audio copy, his delivery is priceless. And for what it's worth, I think The Flintstones is a worthy artifact of its era in its take on suburbia and the nuclear family. Also the name Joe Rockhead always makes me laugh.
