Does height matter?
Some heightist women being honest
The same question was asked last week by a short man. My answer is the same.
As a petite, pretty woman (5'5" and 115 lbs.), I have been grabbed, sexually assaulted, and verbally sexually-harassed by men since age 15. Three of my supervisors tried to rape me. I don't feel safe in this world.
So, it makes me feel safer to be with a man who is taller and more physically imposing than me.
I'm am so sincerely sorry that all those awful things happened to you and that you don't feel safe in this world, Kathleen.
I'm an Idealist and I want YOU and everyone else to always BE safe.
There are many short men who have the backbone and the fighting skills to genuinely protect you from bad men.
I'm just saying the popular myth of being 'safer' with a man because he is tall or 'physically imposing' is assumed and believed by many women.
Tall and physically imposing doesn't prove that the man has the backbone or the fighting skills to actually keep you safe. It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog. Bruce Lee or the tall man?
This has always been my point.
In my considerable experience, short guys have fabulous senses of humor and are KILLER in bed!
Thank you!
Did you not ask this question last week? Do you have a height complex?
Yes, I asked this question. Did you read what I wrote in that post?
I'm not the one with the height complex. I'm proud of who I am.
Did you watch the video?
@JohnINFP Yes I watched. The girls were mostly pretty silly, and it seemed to be more about dick Size than actual height with some of them. That is an erroneous assumption in my experience. Unless a guy is considerably shorter most reasonable women wouldn’t be put off.
I'm sure if you asked a group of more mature women, height would not rank as high.
Everyone is a heightist. How tall a woman would you date? How is 7 ft.? Would 7 ft. be okay? Would 3 ft. be tall enough?
Just keeping it honest.
I'm 5'6",so maybe 5'9" or 5'10" maybe. Personality,humor,compassion,all have to be there,and be "Easy on the eyes",too.
So you know everyone is a heightist? I'd love to know how you surveyed 7 billion people by yourself? Please post your brilliant ground breaking worldwide scientific study. Scientists everywhere will want to know how you did all by yourself. Maybe you're like Santa and can hit every house in the world in one night. LOL!!
When parents catch their little children doing something wrong, sometimes the child will point their finger at another child and say "well he does it too".
Just keeping it honest. : )
Why the tone? Need a hug?
I don't think a survey is necessary.
It's safe to say everyone has height requirements. The range may be broader for some, just like it is with age, but people draw the line somewhere. 2 feet? 9 feet? People have a range of comfort levels.
"Everyone" is a general reference, like everyone needs love, or some money to survive...
You could disprove that, but it's generally true.
Go eat something - you're a little grumpy.
