Kyle Kulinski is a commentator affiliated with TYT. If you are Right-leaning, you will likely dismiss him as quickly as I would dismiss Hannity. At any rate, I like Kyle's style. This video is rather long, and gets a bit semantically burdened at times; but I think it's worth watching:

I know who Kulinski is and could agree with him on some points even though I lean to the right. I also agree with the TYT on issues such as equal rights for all people and supporting reproductive rights, but begin to part ways with them when they push socialism.

I can respect that.

I'm unfamiliar with Kyle Kulinsky but I believe he has hit on an important point. I'm a socially progressive small business owner. I've come across Agnostic members and members of our local Free Thought group who advocate for a post capitalist order. I try to remind them of the benefits we enjoy brought by capitalism. There are benefits brought by socialism also like "social security". It will be a big mistake if the Democratic party becomes too idealistic to the left rather than picking the best of socialism and capitalism to base their party platform. I heard a comment from someone from Texas who said something like, you've got the left side of the road and you've got the right side of the road. The only thing in the middle are dead armadillos. I hope he's wrong as it would be disastrous to have another four years of trump.

Governments (and life, in general) are an ongoing experiment, imho, not ever perfect, but workable. Just as we continue to try to improve our lives, and those of our loved ones, so should governments continue to find ways to improve the lives of the citizenry; and sometimes that can be done by trying different systems and ways of doing things. And if something doesn't work, try something else, or modify that thing until it does work.
