I just received this lovely notification. No wonder my head aches. We're getting seasoned, basted and cooked.

I had a heck of a time in Mesa a couple of years ago when I got sick the second day there.....in December. Couldn’t shake it off, thought it was maybe what they call “valley fever”. Went back to the doctor a couple of times with no success, then the nurse asked if I had tried allergy pills. So I did, and finally, thanks to her, a got back in shape. It was a six week ordeal.

I know it is very hot in Phoenix ...but it's a desert. I always believed a desert was good for asthma.

I spent 8 hours at Emerg today with my wife after she felt faint and dizzy and nauseous this morning. We assumed it might be dehydration as she had a dry mouth and a racing heart so off to the hospital we go. There were 2 other women and a french guy there at the Emergency Ward presenting with the same symptoms as my wife.
They put my wife on an IV drip of saline solution with some gravol for the nausea and they cleaned the wax out of her ears as they thought this might be causing the nausea. Symptoms have abated but I have to wonder why there were so many other patients there with identical symptoms and the doctor said there was no connection to the heat. Could it be the air quality?

@sweetcharlotte My wife thought dehydration as well even though she had consumed 8 glasses of water that morning she wasn't feeling hydrated. I wonder if it is an electrolyte imbalance although her sodium, chlorine and potassium levels are fine, magnesium, phosphorous and calcium levels are unknown as they are not part of the electrolyte test.

I wonder if this is why all I want to do lately is sleep.
