@GreatNani my fantasy is that GOP leaders refuse to do diddly, voters put Dems back in charge of Congress, and they impeachTrump and Pence (who was in on,the treasonous plot, covering for Trump the whole time. Then whoever the Dem speaker of the house is becomes Pres. President Pelosi may sound funny, but better by far than what we currently have. Anyway, this habit American has of voting in presidents based on personality hasn't worked out too well most of the time, has it.

@MikeInBatonRouge , I've always felt that the biggest homopobes have serious issues with their own sexuality. My oldest gson is gay and you will not find a better man. Worked his way through college, with scholarships , and has done very well for himself.

We had enough 'evidence" to impeach when he knowingly violated the emoluments clause of the constitution immediately following his inauguration. He never divested of his business assets. The hotel he owns in Washington, which all foreign leaders stay at who meet with him, is just the most obvious. He has also been given gifts from foreign countries like tax breaks for the golf courses he owns. China even gave him trademark protection for the Trump brand, nobody gets that from China (worth millions). This has all occurred while in office.

@Seminarian I think between most legal opinions on the clause viewing it as being targeted at officials working for the government abroad and the fact that he handed over the running of his businesses to his sons, he should be OK.

There is plenty of evidence, just no courage in the Republican lead congress to tske the necessary steps. Trump's modus operendi is to take things to the letter of the law (pushing circumstances as far as they can legally be pushed without obviously breaking), instead of respecting the spirit of law. If evidence is still considered circumstantial, we have moral and ethical concerns in abundance to at censure him.
