I have always admired Michael Jacksons' work. This is one that I have never heard. It's beautiful .
I consider him a pedophile that bought his freedom time and time again so Pardon me for Ignoring his talent.
He had only two accusers, one of which (who got an out of court settlement) recanted after Jacksom's death. So, I have doubts about any accusations. There was way too much money involved for there not have been more accusations. I'm not saying hs is not guilty, but he has only eve been trioed in the media, but not in the courts.
On the brighter side, all the media attention of Michael Jackson led to a change of social and institutional attitudes which eventually led to the me too movement. In the end victims now have more of a voice than they have ever had before.
Of course Team Trump is try8ign to turn back the clock, like with how Betsy Devos has changed guidelines for sexual assaults on college campuses, which moves protections form victims to the perpetrators.
As a society we do have a logn way to go...
@snytiger6 You can have doubt. I remember all the doubts about weinstein, all the doubts about cosby. You can be all the blind and deaf you want about "the freak"... he gave "milk and cookies before I tuck them to sleep" a bad name. Plenty of documentation every where you look. Can you find another individual in the history of mankind with his behavior outside of pedophiles? Nah, you can't. Be as naive as you want. As somebody who knew him said... "in the Serengeti... the lion do not prey on the strongest of the antelope... nah, it preys on the weak, sick and defenseless." I will judge you by your behavior and the wake you leave behind. Find me a pedophile expert that after looking at all the evidence shown and not shown to us claims the freak was never a pedophile... find me one. There is even evidence how everything started when he was a child with one of his musical mentors. Next you gonna say he wasn't an addict, just as prince wasn't an addict. I will give you the one 3 truths I think I know... the freak a pedophile, prince an addict, trump a traitor. I hope I don't have to define addict or traitor to you... I am not going to bother with you with a definition of pedophile.
@GipsyOfNewSpain Hans Christian Anderson behaved similarly to Michael Jackson, as far as wantign to always be interested in beign surrounded by children. Granted it is nto common, but some people are like that... and are not pedophiles.
Weirdness (pertaining to your reference of him as "the freak" ) does not actually fit the normal pedophile profile. Most pedophiles want to blend in and not be noticed or seen as different, and they take great pains NOT to be noticed.
Unfortunately, it is human nature to assign nefarious traits to those who behave differently and who don't conform to societal norms. An over used example of this are the witch trials that took place throughout most of Christianity.
I often wonder what this world woudl be liek if peopel who though differently were nto ostracized, discriminated against and often out right killed all through history, as thsoe are the creative persons who usually change the world.
@snytiger6 The Freak did not wanted to be surrounded by children... for none other reason than to pick the prey from the group... then wanted to be alone with ONE child. Always a Boy. No witnesses... No different than the scout masters that were found. No different than the priests and the altar boys. Very rare a priest being a serial female fucker fathering 15 children in the congregation but a serial child molester... yep. they are. Go ahead wear your silver glove and drink your milk and cookies.
I had not seen this.
It looks inspired by the Hands Across America event.
I adored Michael
So obviously, insanely talented by the age of 6 or whatever age this was.
He was my first celebrity crush.
Janet has much of that same ability to eye glue you.
That is something that can't be taught, I think.
@AmiSue Listened almost exclusively to the radio stations playing Motown.
Drove my racist mother insane.
