To all the people that say there aren't that many people to date on here, I decided to keep my original requirements but increase the search radius to include the entire USA. I came up with about 340 matches in my age range! Truthfully I would like to meet someone local for convenience but I was wondering how many people don't care about distance?
I am in the middle of one right now. She lives 1200 miles away and is wanting to move to Florida. She's visited here once already for 2 weeks and is planning another at the end of August. So far so good, just concerned that the move will not happen. She's a senior like me , divorced, kids all grown up , lives alone in 3 bdr. home. I'll keep it updated.
Dating someone who live far away is not a logical choice for me, I own and operate a farm where I need to be for at least a small part of every day. I can and do take holidays but that take a lot of logistical work to set up care of my animals and crops. So beyond about 3 hours one way is really not practical.
This site has only been going for 9 months. I think it has a remarkable amount of people for that short amount of time. Still I will be glad to see some more Aussies on here. I have no intention of a long distance fantasy romance.
Most men who are the slightest bit compatible live thousands of miles away from where I plan to move in the US.
I would never move to be with a man as it would put me at risk and be costly; if things didn't work out I'd be homeless and have to pay for moving, finding another job. Most of the men live in houses they've been in for decades, have jobs, family, grandchildren, etc and don't want to move.
I never thought I'd find anyone here, but just use the website to amuse myself while reading Kindle books. When I get to the US, I plan to use the new Google dating/meet up app that lets people meet others at local events of mutual interest.
I only want to date men my age who love to do the things I do..dancing, hiking, birding, etc.
