Today, Newt Gingrich shoed his utter lack of honesty and moral integrity by very positively comparing Trump to Lincoln. Trump and Lincoln are such morally and patriotically different people that if they had lived at the same time, Trump would not have been fit to empty Lincoln's "slop jars." (For those people too young to know of such things, before modern bathrooms, people kept large ceramic bowls in their bedrooms in which to urinate and defecate during the night. Those containers were called slop jars.)

Oh, yes. Gingrich has such an inflated ego that he thinks he is the most brilliant political figure in the USA, if not the world. If you don't believe it, just ask him.
trump would certainly fit in that political era Maybe Gingrich merely misspoke, and said "Lincoln" when he meant to say "Lincoln't." Comparisons to Stephen A Douglas are much more appropriate:
