The news media acts so shocked that DT lies regarding demonstrable facts and that the “base” believes him. That same “base” believes, among many other things, that the earth is five thousand years old. Wake up people!!

The "shock", as you put it, is doubtless at the bare-faced effrontery of the continued lying, on the one hand, and the willing gullibility and self-deception on the other. People actually lie, to make excuses for his lies.

What’s worse is ‘his base’ is tiny.. They could - should have been crushed by the weight of the majority … yet that majority apparently thinks it has better things to do than vote..
