Hi you probably can't even show your face or hair in public. I have read messages from people from Kuwait..wanting to shout out loud "I am an Athiest!"...but they can't..its too risky..because of the blasphemy laws..they can label you as an Apostate..too dangerous..but you are not alone.

There is nothing wrong with that..everyone likes beautiful art etc on their walls..just disappointing that there are no beautiful moving or inspiring true art prices that have Athiesm as the subject matter.

@Hitchens The absence of supernatural gods in any piece of art is by definition atheist. But perhaps you are meaning anti-theist?

For me, the absence of theism is good enough for me. So much beauty occurring naturally without attributing it supernatural causes. For me, living without religion is my normal. I don't need to focus on the fact that I'm against what is not normal for me.

I did remove a piece of art my mother had purchased and had hung in what is not my home, before she died. It was just a local island town scene, but it had a church in it. When I moved in to what was her place, I decided that one piece of art wasn't "me" and I didn't want to look at it every day.

My mom was not terribly religious, and she knew of my atheism, so I don’t feel guilty in the least replacing it. I have to be me.

I read it..I was just really sceptical of the articles...?

Just saw that very vivid, vibrant, and colourful..really great!

@Hitchens Thank you. It was a lot of fun and I won in the Dr. Seuss category. In this pic, a lot of the set is cut off - the sitting area with Seuss trees, pillows and Seuss-like stuffies. I read the book out loud, non-stop for 2 1/2 hours. Only made a couple of children cry.

@Hitchens LOL! Me, too. I used to perform it when I worked with a children's theatre group. That dratted Sam used to add random things to the text, all of which I had to remember in order.
