Just got done reading this article posted by Planned Patenthood. It made me wonder about the attitudes of people here in godless land. Are you a sex toy user? Have you been to a shop or prefer the annonimity of buying online if you have purchased sex toys? Have you bought sex toys for a partner, male or female? Is there one you would recommend? One you were sorry you got? Just curious if the non believers are more or less comfortable about bringing inanimate objects to the boudoir.

Ummm, sex toys aren't mentioned in the babble, so they must be A-okay, right?
I buy vibrators pretty regularly from brick-and-mortar shops. To be frank, it makes masturbating a lot easier, and that's all the sex I get right now.
I bought my girl a bullet and now she only wants me to use that on her, it was meant to spice things up not replace my dick! Never mind loknñ

I purchased and used for a few years a "Fleshlight" and it was an acceptable substitute being by yourself.
It helps remind me kind of what a vulva looks and feels like! But no substitute for the real thing.
@Barnie2years I doubt there is a substitute for the "real" thing for anything, but it served it's purpose quite well for me.
@jlynn37 given how well the company is doing, you are not alone!
Yes I am a sex toy user...but I consider floggers, riding crops, exfoliation gloves, powder puffs, ping pong paddles, hair brushed, clothes pins, etc to be sex toys. Use the imagination.
I have shopped at brick & mortar stores & online for toys. Everywhere from dollar stores to actual toy stores in the mall to farm supply stores to adult entertainment/novelties/bookstores to online.
Yes I have bought items for partners/friends. My fave is [feeldoe.com]
Not really sorry about any choices. They were all well thought out.
I like the new picture
@Anonbene thank you.
I totally need a job at a sex shop now, because answering the question "what do you do for a living" with "slinging dils to pay the bills" would be amazing.
To answer your questions: I am a sex toy user, I have been to shops and ordered online both are fine, I have bought them on my own and with a partner (I did pitch the ones I had bought with my husband, when I threw out the rest of his stuff) and yes, there is one I would recommend: [amazon.com]
Thank you for your recommendation!
Partly I shop online just because I can shop when it is convenient for me, I don't have to stand or drive, and I can look up reviews as well. Now if I want it NOW I will go to a shop, but I rarely want something NOW.
Also, shops are easier to go in to if it's not super sleezy like some are
There are definitely variations in the quality of shops depending on where you live. Here in Lancaster they are kind of shabby. I think that discourages many people from going in.
I have visited a few adult entertainment shops in person, but most of my purchasing has been done online. I have a few toys, used mostly solo. I have shared the adventures with a few lucky guys, but it has been a long while. I have had vibes for years, even when I was a "good xian woman." God wants us to be happy. My ex did not make me happy.
Yep. Toys were a spicy addition in the marital bed, for both of us. We really enjoyed toys to be used during intercourse, stimming both of us. As far as buying... the privacy of online is wonderful, BUT, if I need something rather specific, I do much better when I can see the device rather than just a photo.
I do use sex toys, along with cuffs, rope, whips, floggers, ect. I do have a few sex shops around here I really like, one that is geared more towards women and the queer community. I have purchased for myself and both female and male partners. Usually the toys themselves are for clitora stimulation, but cockrings can be fun!
