Proof of god's love. Not so much proof of god.

Me, too! Did you realize that every single human culture has created some kind of alcoholic drink? Usually beer but...it's been with us always. Maybe because not much is more fun than a ''sundowner''....

I always liked these verses from the Bible about wine:

He makes the grass grow for the livestock and provides crops for man to cultivate, bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil that makes his face to shine and bread that sustains his heart - Psalm 104:14, 15.

I never thought of it as beneficial, just cheering, but I guess it's both.

Only in moderation....
