This morning I called the offices of my two Senators, Diane Feinstein and Kamala Harris, and my Representative, Alan Lowenthal. I asked the aide at each office who answered the phone to pass along the following message:
“As of yesterday one Donald J. Trump is officially an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal felony. As such he should not be making any judicial appointments. The Senator (or Representative) should go on record saying as much from the floor and also in a press statement.”

I am heartened to report that the aides’ reactions ranged from happily helpful to downright giddy.

I can't help but agree with that, and I commend you for making the call.

Abso-freakin'-lutely! I have boldly gone on the record for months saying Trump needs to be impeached! The end draws nigh!

I chuckle when I read "he should be impeached", that won't end his presidency, Clinton was impeached and completed his full term. Impeachment isn't what you think it is.

My hero for sure. Thank you. 😀

Living in Utah our federal representive's or a bunch of wimps and hypocrites . It's obvious to me that not only trump but the republican party is corrupt. Being single and retired I see quite of bit of cable news,I just scratch my head when I think about what's happening to our country. I was in the military many years ago and I met people from all over the nation, I didn't realize how much the people and values have changed. It's like Orwell nightmare!

I called the senators and congressman - no surprise, they're pretty busy but I did get to leave my message.

Caveat: I have no use for Trump, but

I have had several election law "insiders" tell me that what Trump did does not appear to violate Federal Election Law because the payment came from personal accounts and not a campaign account AND, as a married man and businessman, it might be considered "normal" for him to want to get the women involved to sign non-disclosure agreements. I suspect the burden of proof for prosecutors will be rather substantial.

Cohen's plea just flattened that hurdle.

You are missing the point.By hiding the truth to influence an election is a violation of the law and that's not saying anything about the ethics and morality. I hope they lock that chump up!

How much money did you send?

I have contacted my senators from Georgia, and I expect that they are both going to do whatever Mitch McConnell tells them to do.
Sad, but true.

Same with all of my congressional members from Texas.

@jlynn37 Pretty sad. This is where we are. I really hope everyone who has expressed their disdain for the current system shows up to vote in November.

If your Senator or Representative supports Trump, call and asdk them how much longer they plan to support an unindicted co-conspirator?

@mcgeo52 I did that this morning. Of course, the staffers I spoke with wouldn't respond to my questions.
